It’s now World AIDS Day

I can’t wait until I never have to post that again. While the life expectancy of people with HIV grows in North America and while new treatments garner headlines, it’s still there. It still causes harm. It still killed off nearly an entire generation of gay men. It’s still running rampant in sub-Saharan Africa. There is still way too much misinformation and apathy about the epidemic.

This project is meant to shed some light in circles that may not be used to hearing about it. I look forward to seeing the videos produced and presenting them here for you to see.

I look forward to next year and seeing who takes over this project and seeing where they will go with it.

I look forward to getting tested next week as a matter of habit moreso than a matter of urgency and I urge you to do the same.

It’s World AIDS Day. It’s Red Ribbon Reviewer Month. It’s Thursday. Let’s go.
